Sharon Vanorny grew up in small midwestern town with her family, a lot of kittens, and a peacock. Her first photographs were mostly of these 3 things.

She began her education at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 1998. She then moved to Madison in 2001 and finished her photo degree at Madison Area Technical College, where she feels she scored some good technical skills.

She loves photographing people, letting them be who they are. Sharon makes each portrait session and wedding a fun and relaxed experience for everyone. In her free time she enjoys bike rides with her friends, fun kickball games, and backyard bbq’s.

Her clients include: Isthmus, Madison Magazine, and Coreweekly.
