Heather is probably going to be the nicest wife in the whole world….but mostly only because Jason will never give her any reasons to be mean. or we’ll see….what do I really know?? Heather got Jason a puppy and she was all sneaky like–digging in his email and & photoshopping a dog with a photo of them in it to give to him. I was a little disappointed in Jason’s reaction….I think he might’ve been in shock about the whole thing. It just felt like he should’ve been high five-ing heather and like punching the air…..he was more concerned about who her contact person at the dog place was. The whole thing was really really cute!
The wedding was in Minocqua, Wi! The beginning of the day was a bit rainy but cleared right when it was go time for the photos!!! I drove Heather and Jason around Minocqua in my car to take photos. Wedding couples never sit in cars that aren’t limos or old classic cars. I love it that it never occurred to them how to get around. I’m not being sarcastic–It was great. I’m a classy wedding photographer–clean car! I’ll drive brides around all day! OH! also i’m going to try to get as many weddings in the Bayfield area-so so so if you know anyone getting married up there tell them about me! i’m not going to charge mileage & I can stay at my sisters house. The northern wisconsin is probably the dreamiest place ever. i love it so much.
ok so the part of the wedding that i’m usually the saddest about photographing is the license signing and cake cutting. BOR-RING. to the max. I’ve decided to make it a goal to make these two events more exciting. –for me i suppose. Is that selfish? Well, whatever. It’s fine. I think we did a fine job doing the license signing here. Good work team! and there was no cake cutting. or i missed it. like anyone is going to let the photographer miss the cake cutting!!!
I’m real chatty about this wedding-very unlike me. Heather & Jason are great. I decided to include a few of the awkward photos–i think i heard heather say in passing….oh. i kinda like the awkward ones. i don’t know if she meant it or not…but i’m sure she’ll get a kick out the ones i posted. Another funny thing is that Jason told me he loves dancing photos. I don’t think anyone has ever ever said that to me. I took it upon myself to really get some exciting dancing photos. Man-amongst the -good- dancing photos are a lot of crap photos. It totally my fault dancers-not yours. Your dance moves are always hot. ox

ps i am always up for shooting in a room with a lot of animal heads. they are weird and wonderful. hire me for your taxidermy themed wedding please.

somebody told me it was very important to get a photo the cones all lined up with everyones name in it. yes, this sounds like a lovely idea i told the gal. By the time I got to take this photo there was one pine cone left. I’m just go ahead this is not a bad photo! & how impressive that everyone who rsvp-ed showed up!!!
